Online Sales Workshop: The key to success for SMEs in the digital economy
Hanoi, July 21, 2023 – Seaconsult Joint Stock Company (SEACO) in collaboration with the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium-sized Women Entrepreneurs (HAWASME) and the Hanoi Business Support Center (Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi) organized the seminar “Online sales secrets to help increase sales significantly” to support businesses in digital transformation, improve business efficiency and expand the market.

The seminar was attended by speakers from the Hanoi SMEs Support Center, Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank), Vibook, Voice of Sale Joint Stock Company, Timegroup ecosystem and nearly 100 HAWASME female entrepreneurs.

On behalf of HAWASME, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Permanent Deputy Chairwoman, reviewed the practical needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), especially female-owned SMEs in the face of the trend of development of the digital economy, and affirmed that HAWASME’s strategy in the coming years will focus on supporting member enterprises to actively transform digitally and develop business on the basis of the Association’s Kinhdoanhdientu.vn e-commerce platform. Assessing the context that Vietnam is deeply integrating into the digital economy and implementing the Fourth Industrial Revolution well, Ms. Dang Thi Huong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Business Support Center, said that access to new production achievements is considered a powerful tool to help businesses participate effectively in the global value chain, while accelerating the industrialization process, expanding the market and promoting economic growth.

At the seminar, experts also shared experiences in accessing capital, building supply chains and introducing online sales support software for SMEs.

The sharing of experts at the seminar has helped businesses recognize the necessary information technology tools in online transactions and sales. Besides, businesses are also approached from different perspectives from new investment funds (venture builder), while learning how to build brands on digital platforms through the sales staff.
The seminar “Online sales secrets to help increase sales significantly” has created a space for sharing useful information for SMEs to access and apply information technology to business development; not only helping businesses increase sales significantly but also promoting the industrialization and development of the local economy. Hanoi’s digital transformation support programs also promise to continue to spread and bring benefits to the SME community in the future.
