Nearly 80 Female Entrepreneurs Participate in the Program: Vietnamese Female Entrepreneurs – Improving Digital Business Capacity in Hanoi

On May 11 and 12, 2024 in Hanoi , the training program “Strengthening the capacity of women-owned micro, small and medium enterprises to participate in the digital economy in ASEAN – IDEAS Project” officially launched its first training course (Training Batch #01). The program was successful, with the enthusiastic participation of businesses in Hanoi and neighboring provinces. The project attracted nearly 80 female entrepreneurs to participate, equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to operate effectively in the increasingly developing digital business environment.

In the context of challenges and opportunities of the digital economy, the project focuses on training and emphasizing the important role of online information and communication technology, especially in the field of e-Business & Digital Skills. This is not only an important part of the digital economy but also brings flexibility to easily access the market, helping Women Entrepreneurs participate in the online business process effectively.

The project highlights the importance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the ASEAN economy, especially with the significant contribution from women business leaders. With an estimated 61.3 million women business owners in the region, women-led SMEs play a vital role in the prosperity of the ASEAN economy.

In addition to the in-depth training content, the course also creates opportunities for students to participate in product exhibitions and business connections. This is a useful activity to help female entrepreneurs promote their products and services to potential markets and seek new cooperation opportunities.

Under the guidance of a team of experienced and dedicated lecturers, students are not only taught knowledge in a systematic and easy-to-understand manner but also participate in lively practice sessions and open group discussions. The training course has received high praise from students thanks to its practical content and professional lecturers. Many students shared that they have learned a lot of new knowledge and skills, and the course also opened up opportunities to exchange, connect and share experiences with other female entrepreneurs in the region.
