Business culture is the “soft power” of an enterprise
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Dr. Duong Thi Kim Lien, Director of the Institute for Business Innovation Support (IBIA) and member of the executive committee of the Hanoi Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Small and Medium Enterprises (HAWASME), had a conversation with the Business Forum Magazine, the official publication of VCCI. The discussion focused on the value and pioneering role in building Vietnam’s business culture, as seen through the VCCI’s Code of Business Ethics for Vietnamese Entrepreneurs.
Business culture and ethics provide a solid foundation for enterprises, fostering trust, credibility, and brand image. The VCCI’s Code of Business Ethics for Vietnamese Entrepreneurs comprises six core principles that guide enterprise development. Building a corporate image through culture helps create a brand, attract talent, increase labor productivity, establish sustainable relationships, and define core values. A flexible corporate culture that respects cultural differences enables quick adaptation and success in today’s diverse and dynamic environment.
