Mr. Pham Dinh Nghe, Chairman of the Nam Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, affirmed the important significance of the Red River Delta Innovation and Startup Festival, as a good opportunity to promote innovative ideas, find solutions to improve labor productivity, optimize work performance, and minimize costs for organizations, agencies, units and businesses.

Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Minister of Science and Technology, also delivered a speech and emphasized that Vietnam’s innovative startup ecosystem has been increasingly完善 in the past more than 5 years, creating conditions for the formation and development of a new generation of businesses operating on the basis of exploiting advanced technologies, with the ability to quickly access domestic and foreign markets.

TECHFEST is a large-scale activity chain, gathering the domestic and foreign innovative startup community, organized annually since 2015. Many regions and localities have also organized Innovation and Startup Festivals, attracting tens of thousands of participants. The Red River Delta region is a region with great potential for scientific research, technological development and innovation.

In addition, the Innovation and Startup Festival is also a place for startups to seek investment sources and opportunities for cooperation with domestic and foreign partners. Promoting innovation and startup activities will contribute to economic growth, create new products and services, and help improve people’s quality of life.

We cannot deny the importance of innovation and startups in economic and social development. Creating new products and services can help economic growth and create job opportunities for people. In addition, startups can also help solve social and environmental problems, contributing to the sustainable development of the country. We need to create an enabling environment for innovation and startups to develop. The government needs to strengthen support for startups, by providing investment capital, funding training programs, and helping startups find opportunities to cooperate with domestic and foreign partners.

From natural resources and talented people, the Red River Delta has developed a strong innovative startup ecosystem. We hope that with the support of the government and the community, the Red River Delta will continue to become an attractive destination for startups and investors around the world.
